Dear Chelsea

Please please please win tomorrow. I cannot even dream about the torture from Salford Cockney fans if they win again.

I'm sure they have every intention of not only beating Wigan, but also scoring the 5 goals that would take them to 100 Premier League goals, thus eclipsing Man U's 97 in a season ten years ago.

COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!

Chelsea have played well this season, which surprised me given the age of some. That offside goal at Man Utd turned out to be crucial.

Like so many others, you conveniently forget that Macheda "scored" with his arms that day too, so that evens things out in that game, along with each side having a penalty appeal turned down.

103 goals in a season
Wins home and away against Arsenal, Man U and Liverpool (the other members of last season's "Big Four")
Four players in double figures for goals
Fewest defeats

You'd have to be churlish to deny Chelsea are deserved CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!

Has EVERY Arsenal goal this season been onside, or at least not debatable? Every team scores debatable goals. Every team concedes debatable goals.

Arsenal not winning anything... same old Arsenal I guess!!

I didn't forget it at all. My point wasn't that Chelsea were 'luckier' in what they got away with compared to Man Utd, but the incompetence of the officials. The ball was fizzed into Macheda amongst 3 Chelsea players and the ref probably didn't have a clear view, unlike the linesman who had the defensive line, and Drogba, 10 yards away and failed to see a 6'4'' player wearing a blue strip more than a yard offside.

And since you mention Macheda's dodgy goal, lets remember the dodgy goal Chelsea scored at The Bridge when a foul was given for the free-kick Terry scored from, in November.

Over the two games I though Man Utd dominated Chelsea at The Bridge, but at Old Trafford Chelsea did deserve the victory. Overall, Chelsea got the more favourable decisions. That's not taking anything away from the impressive goal tally they've accumulated this season and I do think they are worthy winners.

Compared to Macheda goal..

...I don't blame the ref for missing this. It's more ball-to-hand, anyway, and looks to have come off his chest. I still think it was chest and arm together.
