Is this the "best" worst record ever?

Post by Guilbert »

Many many years ago Kenny Everett used to have a spot on his radio show when he played "the worlds worst records".

He even brough an album out with some of them on.

I always though this was one of the worst. I bet you cant listen to it without laughing.

Paralyzed by the Legendary Stardust Cowboy.

Must be the worst drum solo and trumpet solo ever as well.

Takes about 20 seconds to "start"

Here is details of four radio shows that Kenny made of the worlds worst records.

Four shows, and each show has a list of the tracks played.

On the right you can select to see the "bottom 30"

That is fucking fantastic. As you say, the drum solo and trumpet are choice. Reminds me of the silly tumpet used in the Goons 'Ying Tong Yiddy Eye Poe' song.

I guess it was done as a sling-off at the (then considered) rubbish new rock bands.

Slightly differnt subject but it relates to this. Do you remeber the KLF back in the 1990's, they intentionally performed songs to sound as bad as possible - I remember their appearance at the Brit Awards in about 1993, their peformance was really awful (intended to be), and they then dumped a dead sheep on the stage. Then they left the stage and disbanded as a group. About a year later they burnt all their money. This was NOT faked, they set fire to the ?1 million they had earned as a group and filmed it happening. They apparently now deeply regret having done it.
