Its not very good I'm afraid. Web site's should be fast to load, quick and efficient navigation, and yours and the host (Geocities) is neither.
There are plenty of UK ISP's offering free hosting, which should improve the speedy of load. Cut out the Java effects, and have thumbnails linking to larger sized photo's.
Your use of font is okay, although the size is rather big, perhaps 12point would have been better, and using a table to insert the text would make it easier to read (like newspaper column).
Also keeping the same colour for font and page is a good idea, it keeps uniformity, say using white as your font colour.

I have to agree, with Geocities you get what you pay for, and you pay for Nowt! you can get Adult webhosting, from ?8 a month
with your own domain name as well, the site is very slow to load
with that hulking great banner on the side, I know some adult sites still use pop-ups and banners etc! but there on faster servers, so it,s not too bad.
The site design also is pretty bland, too much space on the index page. It,s worth finding yourself a decent web designer, many will do it quite cheaply, I know some who will do it for free, ( too much time on thier hands), none of this is directed at you personally Julie, just some positive feedback.

You critise us for being honest Mark! yet you offer your services as a webmaster! (kettle-black).
Like Zipper, I was just being honest, if your out to promote your presence on the net, your competing with a lot of other people, and if you want people to visit your site, why not make it as appealing as possible.
I,m sure you can help, we all await the results....

Well I don't know - it may not be the snazziest web design I'm ever seen but it does the job required. We can't all be technical maestros or afford to pay their fees!

Fair point crimps, but it,s so cheap these days to have your site hosted and designed, you may as well let a pro do it,

I actually remember the first webpage I built, it was utter c*** and I'm still not much better now. Don't forget folks everybody has to learn.
IMHO get a faster host (still doesn't have to cost anything) and tell us a bit more about yourself, stats, what type of work you do, rates etc. The other thing is that it would be much better if some of the gallery pics opened out into full sized versions. If you still want to build the site yourself try keeping a simple but distinctive design, have a look at the typefaces, decorations and backgrounds other people use.
