The media as usual distort every fucking thing to sensationalise a mundane story. Mundane because it only affected several thousand Liberians and Sierra Leones in their terrible war against humanity. Not very interesting to Fleet St, eh?
What is fact is that Charlie Taylor is guilty of the terrible attrocities carried out in his name. That he funded his "army" with uncut diamonds is fact.
Naomi Campbell is guilty of being someone so far up her own arse she can't see anything outside her small clique. She probably hasn't got a clue who Taylor is, or was, at the time of Mandella's dinner party. That she didn't recognise uncut diamonds aint really surprising. Who can recognise them other than those in the trade? That she gave them to someone the next day so that they could be used for Mandella's charity is in her favour. That this person held on to them for 13 years is not her fault. If she hadn't said that she had given them to him I would lay money that they would still be in his possession.
The testimony given by two bimbo's, one with a fucking big axe to grind on La Campbell and the other so stupid that she thinks Imran Khan is a footballer should be discounted in it's entirety !! A lousy actress she was and her claim to fame is only because she married a really talented bloke.
Considering how long this has been going on I am not surprised at all that La Campbell was inconvenienced by attending this farce of a trial.
