Or maybe subject should read trying to go straight :-
Thank you Dave for your interest in wanting to work with ErosMusic.co.uk. Although you are almost over qualified for the position you have applied for we are not sure how an adult entertainment association would affect the organisations image. It is the first of it's kind and we are very intrigued by your application, but from a professional point of view it could be damaging to ErosMusic.co.uk to have that connection.
My reply :- At first when reading your reply, I didn't quite know how to react - amazed, staggered etc. But now after I have calmed down and recovered a bit I can put it into some perspective and answer your points (with interest).
Firstly just how would 'an adult entertainment association' affect your organisations image exactly ? Damaging ? How ? Last time I looked in the mirror I don't think I saw a label round my neck saying 'dirty porn camera guy' !!! So it is very difficult to comprehend what you mean by that assumption !
I'll explain my point like this. You have expressed your 'worry' about my past connections with a legitimate business that is looked upon in the TV and Film world as a bit of a joke or at least that we are all perverts or something similar. Well you are very very wrong if you are also thinking this way. My ability to do the job, be that stills or video is unrivalled and the fact that my experience and abilities have been used to produce award winning product in 'the adult business' is totally irrelevant, I suppose !
Surely the ability to produce great camera work is the most important criteria isn't it ?
Surprise suprise the TWAT didn't reply !
