I get about a one call a week now from different loan shark type companies wanting me dosh. I used to challange them at first - 'where did you get my # etc' and they just put the phone down on me. So now it's sport for me. I let them go on and on and on about their wonderful product etc etc and then I say no thanks and put the phone down on them. LUV IT !!!!

I get calls now and again from BT and all have a Mr Patel accent. If you want to sell me something, at least have the decency to speak in a language I can understand.
If I want something, I'll look for it.I don't need somebody reading from a check list telling me what I need.
Good Evening All, (in the UK & maybe EU)
You don't need to capitalise words at random...and you missed your full-stop.
has anyone had calls from 041158648325 , they are an 'Effing nusance.
You didn't start your sentence with a capital letter, spelt 'nuisance' wrong, included a space before your comma and didn't use a question mark even though you were asking a question.
They are also based in Leicester, , they also call using another number which Ican't lay my hands on. Oh they are NOT WHITE / English !!
You inserted two commas to separate two clauses -where neither was actually needed as an 'and' would have done. You've again inserted spaces between your letters and punctuation marks for some strange reason.
Funny thing is that they know my phone number is with held, yet they know my name and address, yet when I speak to 'Effing Virgin, who are as much use as a
used condom, "They say , Sorry sir we can't trace the number , nor can we help.
Ooof.....where do I start? Ok, 'withheld' is one word and starting two clauses, one after the other, with 'yet' isn't really the best way of constructing that sentence. You also inserted your speech-marks a little early, putting your words into their mouth, so to speak, and never bothered closing their speech off at all.
YET these are Digital numbers,
I have these calls from India, Pakistan, and Africa.
This makes little grammatical sense.
Can't see what they achieve, Can't see why phone companies with a digital exchange can't block these numbers ,
Again, this doesn't make much sense, you've gone back to inserting a capital letter, seemingly at random, and closed your sentence with a space followed by a comma. I've never seen this style before.
ANY Telephone Experts here, or information where to call , or who to speak to get soemthing done.
Yet more words with unneeded capital letters, spaces between words and punctuation marks and another question without a question mark.
My Tory MP now back to work after a conferance will be getting an email . , but where else?
At last, a question mark! It's still the grammar of an infant, you spelt conference wrong, more unneeded spaces around punctuation marks and goodness knows what a full-stop and a comma are doing sat next to one another. Just hanging around for a chat?
Why does this Country give Aid to these 3rd world a-holes when a small % muck it up for all ?
I think you've mastered the question mark now. Still too many spaces and words randomly capitalised, though.
Thanks .
That full-stop looks awfully lonely.
Oh does anyone else get these "Friendly Callers" I would like to do something about them , and collective the MP's will have do something .
Doh! Here I was saying you'd mastered the question mark! If only I'd kept my big mouth shut, eh? Yet more unneeded spaces and your last clause doesn't make sense, grammatically.

Do you think that being 'white' and 'English' you ought to become a little more competent with your native language before criticising the foreigners? I'm guessing that if these pesky callers came on here to complain about you, they'd have done so much more eloquently.

Of course, I'm not the best when it comes to grammar and punctuation, I just want to let you know that I don't think you're in the best position to criticise others' skills in this area.

Chatting recently to one of the girls, she said she used to work in a call centre. Her favourite amusement was if the target customer was a man, but a woman answered, she would ask to speak to Mr so and so and if the woman asked "Who's calling?" She would then try to sound a bit flustered and say " oh er, nobody" and hang up. She likes to think she's contributed to several divorces.

Sam, there's a big difference between the spoken and written words.
