There seems to be a recent spate of post,s advertising for girls
wanted for video, photo work etc, a lot with no proper addy or website showing published work, whats the point? how many "aspiring girl models" read this site. Why not have a standard answer on the F.A.Q to cover this topic.
It,s likely that most of these post,s are just scams anyway, there,s one earlier that wanted so much info, even a credit card application seems simple compared to it. Maybe it would also be safer for girls who may be interested in the work, to be able to look through a list of reputable advertisers with published work or at least a web site with full contact details.

Sounds a good idea to me Lizard, i mean there are plenty of model agencies in the links section, also going to a search engine for model agencies, so why not use them? so the suggestion of scams seems to be a likely one.
So in the interest of the model's safety and that they aren't ripped off, which would really be for girls wanting to get into the industry, not established girls of course, then something needs to be done.

Agree entirely, I suspect we are getting quite a few of the 'gonzo without film in camera' brigade. Unless you are looking for somthing in particular then there are plenty of established sites specialising in this subject. I think a compulsary link to site showing samples of work is an excellant idea to weed out the scams.

Well said Lizard, there are far too many of these 'cowboys' advertising for models at the moment....makes it more dificult for us guys who have been around a few years if the models, especialy new girls, are being pissed off by idiots.

As richie rich says there are plenty of model agencies around that will supply models to anyone who asks......and you can always search the model boards yourselves.....I've come up with two new girls this week by searching boards and it's only Wednesday!!!!

Any poster for models who cannot supply a web address or some form of reference should be given a very wide berth.

Yep, maybe it would be a good idea to have anyone "looking" for girls to model, to submit a link to the mods,with contact info
etc!.
The only problem is waking up w.g. from a deep sleep to oblige )

My models site is listed here and at the top of the page where the thumbs of the models are I have written in large red letters the terms for contacting the models and I've also added that all enquiries are moderated before being forwarded to protect the girls from cranks... It amazes me how many idiots email very one of the models with the same dumb message " I'd like to do a shoot with you. Where do you live" I reply as the webmaster and tell them to read the terms and then enquire again.. 99% of them never come back..

So it seems, unfortunately from my short experience of running this site that there are more cranks than legit photographers or film producers around.

Finally.. If any of you do take a look at the site watch out for Bee as a future star.. She'll soon be listed here as she's just made a vid for Fiona Cooper and worked with someone else on a b/g film and one or two well known guys who post here have enquired about her via a friend of mine to work with/for them...
