For anyone thinking of operating a paysite here is a useful warning!
Red and I started www.reds-fetishworld.com as the fetish version of her excellent free site www.red-xxx.com
However we have just been informed by our credit card company CC Bill that those fine men at Visa have just brought in the following rules, the relevant aspects of which are:-
1/ Credit card handling companies such as CC Bill will from mid November not be able to handle transactions on behalf od any company Not having a presence in the USA!
Therefor to be able to handle credit card payments as a .com company porno and sites such as mine and Red's will actually have to form LLC companies in the USA.
There are obvious Tax implications amongst other problems such as filings etc
2/ There will be a registration fee payable by October 15th + a yearly charge (and no doubt reams of paperwork)
The imminent registration fee is USD 750.00 with the yearly fee being $325.00
I suspect that this will mean the demise of the smaller semi amateur sites + unfortunatley some of the models own sites which have a small members area for which the girls make a small charge, which probably subsidises them keeping their modelling sites online.
Naturally www.reds-fetishworld.com with a growing membership will weather this storm and just have to find the money and suffer the US bureaucracy. www.red-xxx.com is still at present a feesite, though Red still intends to put a members area to it since she has an avid following of photographers, friends and admirers who generate a huge number of hits per week!
Seems like someones trying to regulate paysiters through the backdoor! Do I smell a conspiracy theory coming on?

Re: Red Alert
Go to this link on the forum. People were talking about this yesterday and someone had a possible solution.
Re: Red Alert
It's not that difficult to set up a company in Delaware (anonymous, cheap, tax-free and simple - it's where most US corporations are registered). Just check out the Internet. Prices are much lower than you have been quoted.
