I thing:
Traci was a new superstar at that time.
The bosses have filmed a first version with a legal person.(Lisa deLeuuw)
The bosses have filmed a second version with an illegal person.(Traci Lords)

I'm not sure I understand you.
The first part of your post seems correct, i.e. that the Lords scene was
cut from TDtM3 after it became known that she had filmed some scenes
whilst still only 17, and replaced with the [vastly inferior] de Leeuw scene.
The second part of your post seems either to have the sequence of events
the wrong way round, or to suggest that everyone else has got it the
wrong way round and in fact the de Leeuw scene was intended to be in
the original version.

This is not IAFD or ADT, but I think I agree with jj.

It's my understanding that when it was discovered that Traci Lords was underage several of her scenes were reshot with over 18 pornstars so that they could continue to be shown and sold in the USA.

However in Europe there are/were differing laws on the minimum age (the Netherlands specifically comes to mind) and so in some countries the original cut of the film continued to be shown.

As to Mark's point about the O/T nature of the post....well, it was an
otherwise quiet night here, so....
Also, since [as you point out] the Lords version is only available in Europe
one could make a case for the subject being ON-topic :- )

Now you're just being silly.
Why are you so dead against a brief discussion of a scene that is only
available in Europe? What's the harm?

If Alec deems it to be O/T, he'll remove it, and there will be an end on't.

btw, IAFD has no (public) forum. So there are no (public) discussions whatsoever.

p.s. j.j., Traci was a lot younger than 17 when she started. AFAIK, she made only 1 adult video after turing 18, Traci I Love You, which was shot in France with a French cast. See, we're back on topic.
