clarification requested of a scene in PULP

Post by Len801 »

In the EGAFD database of Showtime's PULP

four (4) scenes are described with female andmale performers (apparently by Texxx).
In none of these scenes is indicated the presence of busty blonde actress Sonya Smith. In the "image gallery" of Sonya Smith, there are two pictures (caps) supposedly taken from this movie. We do not see who she is paired with.
There is a 6 minute clip (on the web) of what appears to be this excact scene (from whence the 2 pictures come from) in which we see her male partner as Jay Lassiter. Lassiter's name is not mentioned in EGAFd as one of the male performers.

Is the clip in question really from the movie PULP, or are those two pictures from another movie? Are the 4 movie scenes in EGAFD correct as to the complete contents of PULP?

I did not think of running this title through IAFD, but there is also information there that indicates a scene (scene 7) between Sonya Smith and Lassiter.

Hotmovies.com provides screencaps of all the movie's scenes, and that Smith/Lassiter scene is there

I assume that EGAFD's database listing of (four) scenes was only partial.

This is the scene-breakdown on my DVD:
1) Nikki Anderson;
2) Laura Angel;
2a) Laura- BJ;
3) Laura and Linda Lingua;
4) Nicole Taylor;
5) Nikola and Luana Borgia;
6) Sonya Smith;
7) Marzia Simonelli.

This matches the database entry, although I've further subdivided each episode
according to the individual M/F pairings. Sonya is mentioned, putatively as
'Virginia Gold'. 'Horst Bosch' is presumably Lassiter.

Thanks JJ. Your listing differs to some degree with that is in EGD and IAFD (and unfortuntely you do not have male performers).
In any event, it does confirm that Sonya Smith does have a scene with Lassiter (who is apparently billed as "Horst Borsch" in this movie).
If they would only stick to name (and I don't mean just one name but a name and surname), which would make ID a little more simple.

Just for the sake of being complete, one could indeed assume that 'Horst Bosch' corresponds here to Joe Kalinka (Jay Lassiter), since his real name is also probably Horst, and he was often featured as 'Horst Kallinger'. However, this name corresponds usually to this Horst Bosch (the one previously credited as Horst Baron).

Thanks for all these clarifications.
The EGAFD database comments on this movie strongly indicates that there are only 4 scenes in the movie. That scene I was trying to trace is not detailed in EGAFD, only in IAFD, and then further clarified by on-line resellers and by JJ's own description.
In still puzzles me how these eastern european male/female performers(and perhaps to a lesser extent US performers) keep going through a plethora of pseudonyms, with little or no rhyme or reason.

This is an extremely perspicacious observation, for which the explanations might vary. IMO, through the constant change of names, the production companies worldwide seek to mask the fact that they often use the same performers (especially if they have become veterans of the genre), thus fooling more easily the porn's clientele. This applies more for the females, but is no to be excluded for the males, as well. In the latter case, there could be other explanations, such as the Eastern European guys' frequent exploration of both worlds (in gay or bisexual films). In "Jay Lassiter"'s case, I only assume that he could hardly do any career in US porn under the aka "Joe Kalinka" ...
