(Bump..)

The site is down for the moment, although being updated behind the scenes.

That's not why I bumped this thread. I have, after all these years, made contact with Debbie, about 6 months ago now actually. She's happy what someone remembers her, and views her time in the adult world of film and magazine as a long time ago, and has obviously moved on. While she is Dutch, she does not appear to have learnt English in anyway. She does a normal job these days, and has nothing to do with the industry, other than stay in contact with at least one photographer. It was that photographer that in effect put me in touch. It's good to hear she's doing well. As much as i tired, I could not find out the story of the two tattoo's on her upper arm.

The site remains down, but updated. But that's not why i'm posting here today..

Some weeks ago I discovered a retired photographer who had worked with Debbie back in the day, and was selling off various photo sets, of various model's he had worked with over the years. He has a device that can capture from slide to digital. We agreed a price, and to be honest, I was expecting a disc to show up containing hires digital images. To my surprise, there was a disc, along with all the original slides. I feel like i'm in possession of a slice of history. Come to think about it, I am. There was one Debbie set I could not have, as it appears he had sold it some time ago (damn). On top of all this, he said a few words, which I can't repeat here, about those days, and sent a couple of photo's of and other's from that era, out and about, having fun. I spotted Minnie Champ sitting at one of the tables.. there you have it.

I'm pleased for you.
Did he also grant any legal permission for you to republish them?

Yes he did, I own the rights. I'm not sure Top-shelf publications seek photo's shot 20+ years ago.

I was thinking more in terms of upping them to VEF or similar for posterity.
But I wouldn't blame you for wanting to keep her to yourself : -))

As you probably are aware, photo shoot's consist of good shots and not so good shots. The thing is, I cannot tell if a set is 100% complete. You'd have thought so, but looking at one set, I have see photo's in a Magazine shot during the shoot at are missing from my set? then again, the Photographer might have simply sold what he had, while other stuff might have been lost, damaged, etc.
