models rights concerning agencies

Hi all
after seeing and hearing about models either waiting silly amounts of time for their money or sometimes getting told to write it off as a tax loss by some agencies i thought i would post a helpful link for all those concerned or in need of this advice. hit this link
and you will have all your rights in black and white and also what action you can take to rectify the situation. As a model and agent myself i am trying my best to bring the employment standards of this industry up a notch or two so it's a much safer, clean cut industry to work in and maybe then we will get some new talent coming onto the scene because they will feel safe with the knowledge that we are not a bunch of dodgy buggers ready to rip them off!

Hi,there..

The trouble with a lot of 'so say' model agents-most are rip-off merchants who come on the scene like taxi drivers,bus drivers,or the like that think they are god's gift to becoming an 'agent'..

When you book the girl (at your risk) a million & one excuses are put up in front of you...or you cannot see the girl beforehand...she is Ill,pregnant,Mother getting a divorce,the cat's got fleas.

You are dealing with (a)the bloke himself,or (b) or the girl,who are SHEER amateurs to this business.They also give you a lot of verbal how great they are...To an old professional,these guys are best avoided at all costs,because they are time wasters and bring nothing but aggravation to this business.

I left a person off who thinks he's God's gift at playing model agents-the Milkman..

Next who knows,bank managers,politicians..oh no,I forgot,we have to supply them with 'parties' to 'relieve' the pressure.
