I have asked on Ben`s Message Board this a couple of times without no luck so at the risk of looking stupid can anyone here tell me where the term "Gonzo" is from and comes in with Ben type films.

Gonzo comes from Hunter S Thompson the American 60's/70's journalist who created the action rather than just waiting for it to happen.
