Hi Guys n Girls,
Been looking at the forums for a couple of weeks now, great website indeed.
I was wondering if anyone could pass some information on how to get started in the adult industry, or if anyone is looking for a male for an up and coming shoot?.
I am 29, white, fit, open minded, good hygene and straight with a recent upto date HIV and STD Cert. I would consider any offers for work as long as its straight. Am based down in the South East but can travel within reason, even at short notice. Also are there any agencies/production teams looking for males on their books for future shoots?.
I ask the above question as there seems to be a shout out for new models often in the forums, but are mainly aimed at females, are there enough male actors/models already to cater for the UK industry?
Any info or tips would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Daniel

Here's your first piece of advise
Start by making yourself a small web site with photo's and all you details available to the producers/photographers who frequent this forum

I have been in this biz for some time and even I don't get regular work,
Even though my track record is very good..

Re: Getting into the industry.......
Thanks very much for the advice and tips guys.
I can imagine that there are many messers out there that waste peoples time, money and effort. I guess you get out as much as you put in, excuse the pun!.
Is that is the way forward (even as a newbie??) to get a wbsite done??
I am certainly not a messer, so shall look into this straight away. Good site by the way Jayce.
Again chaps many thanks for the help.
All the best
Daniel

I am by no means premier league - not in looks, not in body, not in cock size, not in performance... HOWEVER - all of that is relative - I'm something of a perfectionist in everything I do - be it performing in porn or banging out a song on the old karaoke, or running the London Marathon (for example) - if I'm gonna do something, I'm gonna do it to the very, very, VERY best of my abilities... And I'm NEVER satisfied.
And that's my first piece of advice - always strive for the top... watch a lot of porn - and FORCE yourself to watch yourself and compare what YOU are doing to what the best (in your personal opinion) are doing and then strive to better what the best are doing!
As for establishing yourself... that's the million dollar question and I wish I had an answer... The Lee Henshaw's, the Steve Hopper's, the Mark Sloane's - they're the premier league and they're probaby as popular (amongst the producers) as what many of the girls are... forgive me for not including Jayce's name in that gang - but the truth is that although you can be a competent and an often used performer, sometimes - for whatever reason, most producers stick with a certain circle of blokes and breaking into that circle is a mystery... you can perform without fail and deliver what is required time and and time out - but breaking out of the also rans and into premier league... who knows the secret formula!? Jayce is surely on the verge of that now - but he'll be the first to tell you it hasn't come easy or overnight.. it's taken HARD work and time!
I'm not sure a website is the way forward per se... Without doubt it will prove you mean business but it is NOT the be all and end all... my personal website USED to contain photos etc - of me in action with girls including Alicia Rhodes and other big names - but did it get me work? - in my personal opinion, no it didn't....
I've since removed my photos 'cos I don't have anything up to date or current... and I've only recently come back from "retirement"... I have to be honest and say that the way forward is through PERSONAL CONTACTS and RECOMMENDATIONS - networking.... JUMP AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY and more than that- forget the bit about "travelling within reason" - if you wanna do it, GO WHERE THE WORK IS.... if it means getting up at 4am to drive 300 miles or catch a train to travel 300 miles.. DO IT!
My advice - GET YOUR CERTS, contact a few of the girls with members sites and offer youself as a FREE stud for content shoots... prove you can get wood, keep wood and deliver the goods and you're half way there.... Relentlessly (within reason) contact production houses and name drop where possible and just hope that you'll get your big break with someone, smewhere and when your ship comes in and opportunity knocks- TAKE THE CHANCE AND RUN WITH IT!
If I can help you further drop me a line - jack@jackhorny.com

Re: My Contribution
Samsung the answer is we stick to the same guys is cos they dont let you down on set. I tried one of the new breed last summer. And he could not get his knob up for toffee. and lost me three grand.
And the prick had the nerve to say I was unprofesional on set. We even gave him a fluffer, and only had to turn round and stick his knob in the girl n set.
But no, after an hour we closed the set. and lost the scene.
How many of these scenes must I loose to men not getting their knobs up, before I go under. I would love to try some new talent, but then it is simply not cost effective.
We cast nearly 100 wannabe studs and guess how many got it up even with viagra?
Not one. That was one of the most sole destroying two weeks of my life.
Yes I have not had great days at the office, but I always did the hounorable thing, and paid for any fuck up I made.
So guys if you want to be on a set, I am willing for you to come and join us.
But if you fail to perform, you must cover the days complete cost.
If you do well, then I will take you on every road trip, and recomend you to the industry.

Re: Getting into the industry.......
I was cameraman on a Tony Ward/Private set 2 days ago and Lee Henshaw was main talent, his dick was hard at 11am and didnt go down until 9.30pm when we wrapped, and when I say it was hard I mean you could have beaten someone to death with it, and he performs at a level of stamina and professionalism that is rare, always aware of the camer's location, lifting his leg or moving to the left or the right without ever having to be told....and never flagging for a moment,
he cost more than a grand and was worth every fuckin' penny.
