Reading the recent posts from Kym and Megaton on that technical topic, can I respectfully ask the mods if they could add that to the formatting section of the FAQs.

I think it is already included in 3.3 of the FAQs -
The easiest way to create clickable links is by placing web addresses inside a pair of angle brackets, thus: This will appear as http://www.bgafd.co.uk. This provides a link to a pic i.e. you have to click on the link to display the pic.
[img]http://www.bgafd.co.uk/logo.gif[/img] (for example) will include an image in your post. For this to work you must ensure that the image you're linking to is stored on some web space and that you have included the FULL address of the image. This inserts the image directly into your message i.e. you don't have to click on anything.

I meant the instructions about putting the image/s on some webspace, like Imageshack, as in Megaton's post.
