O/T? Message timings

Post by fevrd »

Will someone explain these message timings? I have seen messages from girls timed at times and dates when I know for a fact they were in my house with my cock in their mouth - so what gives?

The time is that of where the host's server is located. This is in California, 120? West, 1.e. 120? West of us. Divide 120 by 15 and you get the number of hours behind, i.e. 8. Your message was posted at three minutes past three (Pacific Time), three minutes past eleven Greenwich Mean Time.

In general, divide the difference in longitude by 15 to get the number of hours behind (west) or ahead (east), but if this leads you across 180? longitude go the other way as that's the dateline.

Here endeth the lesson.

sidenote: the chronology of posts is adjustable in newer versions of the forum but no software upgrade is planned, imminently.

I could have used you tuther night, Alec! An ex-g/f called from Hooter's in Hogtown (Gainesville, Fla.) where she was playing "crowd Trivia" & wanted to know what time it would be in London if it were x o'clock in Peking! I said "3:00 PM last Tuesday".

If it comes up again you'll be able to search the forum, e.g. for 'longitude'. :)

That's a relief. I didn't know whether to be amazed that she could do it at a time like that or indignant that she was.
