It has been designed and is live
i was just wondering about all the images on the site are they going to be legal etc
and is it worthwhile

to cover yourself 100% you should make sure you have a copy of the model release and model ids. you also need to know if the images are exclusive or not.

We brought 3 sites earlier this year.

The only way i would do this is to get this done legally. I.e domain names transfered to you and a sale agreement signed by you and the seller. We brought ours in the US so went over to do the deal with the sellers face to face.

Also you need proof that they actually own the content and are legally entitled to sell it.

We also got all model release forms ,copies of IDs,all the tapes and raw images.

We do everything in house, Design, video editing, photography.

It keeps us busy and the costs down. We started with one site and progressed from there.


If you do buy these sites, just make sure everything is done legally. We had our sellers get a legal letter from there solicitor so it was all done above board.

You can check on www.whois.com and see who the registered owners are (but you can hide this)
