As I see it this site is promoting the launch more than it's promoting the product. The clues are in the repetition of 8.1.8 and in the ongoing 'countdown'. On that basis I would tend more to an open mind about the quality of the product, functionality of the site and value-for-money etc. Personally I would differentiate between the product and a marketing communication in the service of that product.
