most hosts should offer a protection to areas me your site.
On my website i can assign pw to any part of it.
If you use ccbill they ask for your protected part and assign them a un & pw. They will then install all the files you need, is easy a piss. Every thing then on the billing side is controlled from your ccbill control panel. Simple!

CCBill recommends that before anyone sets up a paysite they work as an affiliate for a while - it's not so much fun as filming naked women, but it does teach you the problems involved in getting traffic, without which, you'll make no money.

It depends if you are doing it for fun or you want to make a profit.

Cum to Milton Keynes... buy me a nice dinner and I will share some of my juice with ya :) it's not as easy as some people think... but not 100% what your snagged in at the moment...

Are you or do you have programmign skills ? If so shouldnt be any major issue... have you got your content management system in place ? CCBill will install most of it for you...

You asked:

So what I really want to know is;

How to create member login pages and
How to make the content secure and unavailable to non members?

The answer is, YOU DONT...

Epoch or ccBill do tht bit for you...

Your problem doesnt really exist...
