New Porn Documentary?

I wonder if there are any porn producers that might be interested in making their own porn documentary?
Basically I'm fed up to the eye-teeth with us all being made to look like fools and charlatans and porn being made out to be the scape-goat for all societies ills.
I think that between us we could make a series of programmes for a fuck-all, discussing openly and honestly the whole industry.
Anyone who wants to discuss ideas with me can email me.
But not from people just saying they'll be in it - that comes later... I'm interested in producers to start with.
We'll need camera and sound people, light crew and post production and editing staff - basically a full production team. Anyone with talent and ability should get in touch. Legal experts may also wish to be included - they will be needed.
This won't be for most people and I'm sure many will shoot it down in flames but basically TV companies love programmes about porn and have managed to air a couple of decent ones without getting burned at the stake for it so there are possibilities. If we do sell this to a TV station then I see all profits being shared proportionately between the crew.
I have some innovative ideas for a well produced, non salacious documentary but I'm saying no more than that since I'm not having anyone nick anything from me.

I have tried. I had a long discussion with Peter Marshall from Miss World fame and many other TV exploits he said I had fuck all chance as the powers that be would look at it as self promotion.
However I am not put off and hope later this to put something together

Ive been thinking about something like this ever since that itv girl stopped showing her face. Im more then happy to offer my help in any way. Im fresh from uni but have experience in filming and scriptwriting, you will need a really strong structure that covers all areas. As long as you know what you want the documentary to say and back it up with valid points there?s no reason why a station wouldn?t buy it. Ive got some great starting ideas. Okay, so we have some interest from production people and at least one star.
Personally I imagined that it would be the production people that we'd be hard-pushed to find so we have that box ticked...
As to the stars - that won't be a problem because of the format I envisage.
The negatives seem to be the 'self-promotion' aspect but that will not be a problem... again because of the format.

Without wishing to rain on your parade, if you have any intention of it being shown anywhere else than on an 'adult' channel and that doesn't include Bravo and Nuts, I would advise you to look hard into issues of compliance and technical quality before you get too far down what can be a steep and expensive learning curve. Many channels for instance will not accept material that isn't future proof, ie HD (and I dont mean HDV), isn't shot on a minimum standard camera/format, isn't legally compliant, and a whole list of other issues. You might also be surprised by how little they will offer, if in fact that will even look at a film / production outfit they didn't commission, or have editorial input with. Much material on the dozens of channels that are proliferating at present are being shot by a director/cameramen, with no sound recordist or anybody else for that matter largely because the budget is so miniscule. As a broadcast cameraman that is a big issue I can tell you.
