This is especially for models working in Derbyshire and Yorkshire. There has been a flood of bad ?20 notes. Please be carful how you are paid, if its fresh from an ATM your ok but check any obviusly lose notes as they probably wont know if they hav picked up a bad one.

The ?20s aint the problem its the 5s and 10s that slip by, no one checks a dodgey 5 note.

Awful lot of dodgy one pound coins in circulation as well, but I suppose someone paying you in those would be a bit suspect in the first place. Mind you I once bought a car with 50 pence pieces.

Seriously this is a warning to listen to as i got conned with a dodgy pound coin the other day so I can see 20 quid notes are going to be even more dodgy.

Always check that the silver band riuns through the ribbed note and isn't just painted on. That is what I do.

I always get notes out from the bank but sometimes get notes from cashback at Tescos and I think that is where I run into trouble,
