I am not a dumb girl. I have a tonne of qualifications. I didn't enter the adult industry because there was nothing else I could do to make a living. I did it because I loved it and enjoyed it. However, due to the actions of a small group of people recently, I am now contemplating whether this is still an industry that I would like to be part of.

While I am thinking things through, I will still be working so this wont be the last you see of me but the end may be nigh......

This business is the same as any other in some ways. There will be people who cause problems and have their own agendas. Ignore them, easier said than done I know, and continue to work with people you like and trust. If you give up you lose your income and a job you enjoy and in their little minds, they win.

But nothing is forever so do it while you love it, do something else while you don't and embrace the fact that everything changes.

And sometimes it changes back too.

I still enjoy my work and am proud of everything I have done. I have met some amazing people who are all really awesome that I wouldnt have otherwise met, some of whom have become my best friends and I will continue to see them and be friends with them whether I remain part of the industry or not.

95% of all of the people have met through the industry are all great people who made me feel welcome in the industry, made me enjoy my time as part of the industry and made it the best job I have ever had. Its just that remaining 5% that more recently are getting harder and harder to ingore. Just too much two-faced lying, back stabbing and now threats on top of that from people who are meant to be my peers has now made this a pretty unplesant industry for me to work in.

I know we haven't worked together but I for one would be incredibly sad to see you go You brighten up the industry for me hun and I hate to think that a few people are making you so sad

Sorry to read that Holly, I enjoyed meeting you at UKAP a year ago and you always look like you are genuinely enjoying the roles you do.

Over the past decade, I have noticed that a select number of people have appointed themselves as the "official" UK Porn Representatives and have made life hard for some people for numerous reasons.

There is a lot of sniping going on and a lot of hypocracy over what people do / don't do.

You should do what you what to do and be able to do that, however if some people make things too difficult, sometimes it is best to say "enough is enough".

The UK Adult Industry will never rival the US industry because the mind set and professionalism is different. Things people get away with in the UK would not be tolerated else where in the adult world.

I hope you focus on your own site and make it a bit success.
