The following was posted to Shaz's Yahoo group.
Well by yesterday Shaz was sufficiently recovered to be quite bad-
tempered. Fortunately I had enough credit in the bank not to be on
the end of any of it. Shaz merely pointed out in a friendly way the
ways in which I was falling short in the intelligence and common
sense department which I have no problem with because I know it
already.
Anyway having sorted the world out on Monday Shaz was ready to go
home and sort out Edinburgh today (Tuesday). She was still not
physically strong enough to carry the monstrous suitcase that all
girls take when they go away even for five minutes so she has left a
lot behind.
She was met at Waverley by her flatmate and was pleased to arrive
home to an immaculate apartment - thanks to her flatmate who knows
full well from experience what would happen if the place were not
sparkling. (Shaz was also particularly pleased not to be required to
exact vengeance because she really is not in the mood for that right
now).
The programme for the next month now is to chill out and do
absolutely N-O-T-H-I-N-G. Shaz has had an unlucky year from the point
of view of physical health so she is going to make sure that when she
comes back this time she will be in peak condition. Sounds rather
like waiting for the unattended package to do its worst, doesn't it?
Anyway, if you live in Edinburgh and know where she lives then give
her a break for four weeks. She really doesn't want to talk to anyone
but close friends and employees of Blockbusters until she's fit
again. Send her an email, a text or post on the group.
Shaz told me she's been surprised and pleased by the messages that
have been left. Thanks lads and I'll try and get her to post herself
before long.
