This might have been covered before, but here goes.
Over here in North America, Layla, Roxanne and Nicci Sterling have become massive pornstars. In Canada in particular, Lay is approaching iconic status. And now there's a more recent new wave of britstars doing outstandingly well; Alicia, Angel, Ashley, Flick, Rebekah and Jamie in particular.
My question is this. What makes a brit pornstar decide to take the plunge and do shoots in the US and why don't some of the others not do anything. Apart from her Dick Nasty shoots (not really US porn, frankly) Wendy's done nothing in the US. Similarly Sarah, Sandie, Faye all of whome would drive fans here crazy.
Think about it, Wendy with Eric Everhard, Sarah with Lex Steele, Faye with Vince Voyeur and Sandie getting wrecked by Mandingo and Mark Davis!! Jenny Loveitt doing lez with Jewel de Nyle. The Violation of Kinky Kerry?!!
So what's the story? Disinterest or what? I recall reading somewhere that many of the first wave of stars (Roxanne, Nicci) went stateside thru' Uncle Ben's contacts/recommendations. hi there hunny i personally was in this industry a while here b4 i jeted of to the states to work i went there 1 for the experiance of working with bigger companys and bigger budjets 2: u earn bigger money out there and 3: to check out the talent and way of working ...... it is great in america and lots of amazing companys and talent to work with but id never turn my back on the brit porn industry its nice to have the experiance of them both kissssss alicia

Sandie Caine has been to the US. She's in Cum Swapping Sluts 2 with Mark Davis(RLD), she also did one of the American Bukkake movies, #20. So did Simone Whale.

actually i have been done by mark davis and very sexy he was too. i have been to the states twice and the films are listed on my page.

BGAFD is all about bringing stars and fans together and it's wonderful for that kind of interaction to exist. I understand if you don't go back. Thinking about Sandie's comments regarding US porn studs being treated like the stars.
When you think about the top tier male talent - Lex, Eric, Mark, Lee Stone, Evan Stone, Vince etc - they're so implausibly well built, good looking (well, most times) and you feel so remote from them when watching them work. No matter the set up of the scene, their female co-stars end up looking like very pretty props as they strut their stuff with Viagra-laden cocks and washboard muscles. Not like your average Joe Pornfan.
The top US female talent just don't strike you as being close to their fans either, apart from synthetic "I love my fans" notes on expensive websites and industry magazine articles and interviews. I can't imagine a Brianna Banks, a Jenna Jameson, a Jewel de Nyle, a Jenna Haze chugging beer in the company of fans and allowing a top director to stick his tongue up her bum in public with said fans taking personal pics of the whole thing.
