I'm lucky, I've seen most Led Zep, Who, Springsteen ( best vfm at 4 hours a show),Family,Yes,Neil Young,Inxs,Rod Stewart,Lou Reed,Stereophonics,Pink Floyd,Alice Cooper,10cc,Aerosmith,Motors,Pistols,Clash,Stranglers,Todd Rundgren,Lynard Skynard,Fleetwood Mac, Guns N'Roses, U2,Skid Row,Genesis,Lenny Kravitz and you just cannot beat Mick,Keef,Woody,Charlie and Bill.

Re: best live band
Dave, your very well respected here, but you CANNOT put Skid Row and The Stereophonics in the same league as Pistols, Clash and GnR

Re: best live band
I have seen Arena and Stadium acts (U2) and been to massive indoor venues that hold great shows too with lasers and pyrotechnics only enhancing an already slick show, but you CANNOT beat a small venue like Brixton Academy for the intimacy and atmosphere of a live act.

Re: best live band
Seen the reformed Purple which was shite. Seen Rainbow with Graham Bonnet (1980) and Joe Lynn Turner (1982) both were shite
