new James Bond movie: overrated or what?!

Borat and Casino Royal are two completely different films, and regardless of who has made more profit due to the film budget Borat is still behind (by three places) Casino Royal in this years top grossing films.

I guess its a simple case of if you don't like it thats fine, but the majority do(a big majority in fact), whether you like it or not lol!

I saw it last night. I liked it.
It took me a while to stop expecting lots of explosions and stunts, and for a while i was dissapointed, then when I got to the end I realised it was more a film then a usual blow em up kill em.
I hope this chap stays for a while a moulds in to his character.
And wow was that a stunning red dress.

It was an excellent movie. Did for Bond what Batman begins did for batman, breathed life into a tired movie franchise.
It`s also a lot closer to the novels portrayal of Bond.

Just realised that the director, Martin Campbell, did a lot of TV work in the UK and directed the superb Edge of Darkness series in 1985.

A lot of the Brosnan Bond films were overrated due to shitty plots.
Goldeneye- Sean Bean plans basically a bank heist.
Tomorrow Never dies, Johnathan Price tries to sell Newspapers to China. Plus Shitty fucking Teri Hatcher.
The World is not enough. Eurgh Robert Carlyle.
Die Another Day Brosnan finds out how Clooney felt in Batman and Robin as he stands around whilst fucking Halle Berry does everything.
