You may well have seen me then Rommo as i was a truck driver, the fruit importer i worked for had their own lorries and we spent most of our time running produce from the Docks to the markets in London i would often deliver to all the markets in one night and then back to Millwall or the East India docks and get in the queue for reloading the next day, all these places have now been redeveloped, a police car that was on a call try to overtake me one night on the inside just as i was turning left, he caught the back wheels of my trailer and ended up sitting in a shop window it was just like a scene from the sweeney the next thing i knew i was surrounded by the Old Bill but i never got done the top gun came out from Rochester Row police station and said if we do you we will have to do our own man and we wont be doing that then he told me to piss off, these were good times !love!
