The egg and spoon has too much corruption associated with it. The sack race is a joke too.

Since the age of 5, I always came last in protest. My mum will verify that I often ran in the wrong direction in the name of taking the piss.

When I hit secondary, I got competitive and took it all seriously....... I once dropped the baton in an important relay, but, luckily for me, we still won.

Sports day memories:

A bigger lass with her unholstered jugs in a 400m race;

My mate and I in the one sack for a sack race;

Having to SHARE a silver medal because a pushy parent couldn't accept I beat her son in a close 100m;

We went to a sports event at a boarding school- Glenalmond, i think the school was called. It had a big swimming pool with diving dales. We finished our day, then put one of our mates in a canoe....... and launched him off the middle dale! When I think of the possible consequences now....... but you've gotta laugh.
