The whole Cenotaph parade and the poppy appeal is organized the the Royal British Legion. So it would not take a tax increase (which lets be honest here you would moan like fuck about,no mater what you say) to help take better care of our vetrans (of all wars) Just more people taking the time to make a donation all through the year not just in November would do it.

Cheers

Also. Scandinavian politicians in general seem to be better administrators
and less in it for themselves, and don't waste 90% of OUR money that WE
give them [the emphasisers are because so many of our lot seem to forget
a) that they're our employees, not the other way round; and b) that they
have a sworn obligation to allocate our money wisely].
I wouldn't trust this lot to spend a paperboy's wages or run a whelk-stall.

The press labelled it a 'donkey jacket'. In fact it was a very expensive suede jacket similar to the ones that those who marched passed on that day were also wearing.
