Besides that Jacques, there is other things to check upon:
Can you tell just by looking at the taskbar of your browser, if a website your visiting is a Clone/Phishing/Non-TDN with MSIE, hell no.
How easily can you edit the layout, style, colour scheme, theme, fonts, etc of your IE Browser?
What about Java, & other Web Development Programming code, can you Debug it directly in the IE Browser, & over-ride malicious code, or any other code/script/function before it is even actioned & fucks up your browser, or your entire computer, NO, you can't.
Can you edit the Referer function of IE, on the fly, a different setting for each type of site you visit, a general setting for any site not on your list already. Setting different rules for each site as you visit them.
Specifying rules to show what can & can't be done by the browser at runtime.
The only draw-back I have at the moment, until I find the right add-on to Firefox, is like Netscape, you can't access the source of the document in a text editor as default, you have to run multiple proggy's to get around it. But soon I will have found a way to fix this ONLY issue with Firefox.
Companies adopting over to it? Alot of Companies are like Sheep, they have to be LED, & so far, Microsoft is leading them all (the companies) like they are the blind, without question.
