I think it's great news.
Always loved Keegan as a player. And I enjoy his rants you never know what he's going to say.

Ah,if only the S.O returned,back to SW6 i'm hasten to add.Fat chance!!!

Alot has changed in the Prem in 10 years since Keegan was last manager of Newcastle.Keegan will have ALOT of sorting out to do.

One thing is for sure,Keegan will bring attacking football back to Newcastle but they'll still win Fuck all.As long as Geordies are happy though !laugh!

I'll never forgive Keegan for England getting knocked out of France 98....even though he was'nt even playing !grin!

It certainly was fella. The reason i blame KK for getting England ko'd of France 98 is purely tounge in cheek. He was co-commentating for ITV in the England v Argentina match which went to penalties. When Brian Moore(god rest him) asked Keegan if David Batty would score his penalty,Keegan replied "yes"......Batty missed his penalty.

Nuff said !grin!

One of the greatest moments in football history. How I laughed like a drain -----then laughed harder a few moments later when they did a close-up of the part of the crowd containing Skinner and Baddiel.

Felt a bit sorry for Keegan, because Moore set him up.

He(Moore) was a wind up merchant, the legend that he was/is.

Keegan's already made his Newcastle wishlist which to my horror includes Wayne Bridge and Shaun Wright Phillips. In the words of Harry Enfield's brilliant self-rightous brothers act.

"OIH KEEGAN,NO.".YOU MAY BE MANAGER OF NEWCASTLE UNITED,BUT YOU'RE NOT HAVING WRIGHT PHILLIPS OR BRIDGE"."THEY'RE HAPPY AT CHELSEA AND ARE STAYING AT CHELSEA".
"You can have Ashley Cole instead",what with him having a Geordie missus.

Personally if Peter Kenyon was to sell them i'd hang him from the top of The Shed end !happy!

I remember now, he was probably the only one in the world who would have thought that Batty would score
