Not neccesarily, it could also be Tswana, Shona, Ndebele, Sotho or even Tsonga. Take your pick, hooooowever the languages the tribes use to communicate with each other is either Zulu or English.

I must say, asking anyone if they speak a non-existant language- 'South African' makes life a little difficult, to say the least.
Particularly when any one of 12 languages seems to fit the bill.
