But with the bizzare situation that exists in football, administration can be an advantage. No longer do you have to bother paying back the bank, the pie suppliers, your VAT and tax bills, all the other debts you have, from now on you can pump all your money into players and their wages.

Why should clubs run properly on a sound financial basis be at a disadvantage?

Hence a 10 point penalty to avoid another Leicester scenario.
We have need of you again, great king.

Opposing fans hate going to Elland Road as well, due to the thuggish behaviour of the knuckle-dragging sheep shaggers known as Leeds United fans!

I agree with the ten points rule, but this was a different kettle of fish entirely.
We had a CVA agreed with all creditors, but the inland revenue refused it.
So we were left with a choice of selling the club and starting again or going out of business, this wasn't about obtaining an advantage, simply about survival. PLus the factall the other clubs can vote to agree with the penalty is mental - who's going to say no!

I think it was important to get this ruling looked at as other clubs will get caught up in crap like this, I understand Bournmouth and Luton are having problems getting their CVA's agreed, and for smaller clubs like that a 15 point deduction could mean them dropping out of the league, not good for football in general, let alone the clubs

Around four o'clock, had a spot of tiffin and quaffed some rather fine Darjeeling whilst perusing today's Daily Telegraph. Didn't fancy any bestiality with some 'wooley blighter's' either.. it's just not cricket.

I would however, would love to 'meet' Chelsea in the not-too distant future, unfinished business and all that.

Surely you're still not feeling sore after 1970?.Or is it the fact we sent you down on the last day back in 2004?.

Remember,a season is played over 38 games !laugh!stripeysydney wrote:
