Jodhpurs - Silliest Pants Ever?

I think you'll find that the ordinary tight riding breeches are indeed jodphurs. The type of riding breeches you mention were indeed part of the dress uniform for German army officers, but Hitler never wore them, because he wasn't an army officer. If you look at photos you see he almost always wore a grey double breasted tunic and black trousers. And I don't recall ever seeing Prince Chaz ever wearing this type of riding breeches. For some reason they seem to have gone out of fashion after the war, can't think why.

You are very probably correct as my knowledge of fashion is shit. If you could see how I dress, you'd agree.

Perhaps I was thinking of Mel brooks as der Fuhrer wearing the 'winged' style of silly pants. By the way, there was a music video done with Mel Brooks as an effeminately gay Hitler (with some rather hot girlie co-dancers as I recall). I think it came out around the late 80's, early 90's and you'd piss your pants laughing if you can find it.
