I think you'll find that the NC-10 does indeed have a disc drive Reginald. I mean where the fuck would you store the ones and zeros with out one? In a saucepan on top of the stove? In the glove box on a 1978 Audi quattro in meadow green? Between the jizz stains on penfolds chin?

Thanks for advice people.Decided I deserve at least 2g memory,built in webcam,and a dvd player.Going to fuck around with this desktop for a fortnight then throw it.

Sam.I have downloaded the firefox,thanks.I've already downloaded ie7 too,and was wondering if i could run a few different ones as some browsers seem not to get on certain sites? I'm getting a 8gig memory stick from Asda next week,about 15 quid I think.Just wondering whether to use the memory stick to hold any site memberships,passwords etc,and,should I join any via my debit card I could keep my laptop fully clear of anything adult etc?I have taken note of your advice as to having the important stuff backed up, regards, Jim

I'm not sure what you mean.

There's Firefox that's downloaded on your Pc, and is used in the same way IE7 is, or there's mobile Firefox that comes with the mobile apps package I linked to further up the thread.

Just to be clear, it's the mobile version of Firefox that comes with portable apps that you'll need to use (after downloading to your pc then installing it onto the usb stick as per instructions on the http://www.portableapps.com website.

And yes, doing it this way, and browsing with Firefox that it installed on the stick, will save session cookies, history, searches and passwords on the stick itself, not the pc you plug the stick into.

Firefox Portable,yes I downloaded as you said,Sam.It opens up as such above if that is right and is saved in my documents as portableapps,ready to go on memory stick to use on my laptop in a fortnight = I haven't used it or browsed on it at all on this pc and won't, thank you,Sam
