So far I like it.

I dont really remember all of the rise and fall etc being born in the 70's.

I have seen repeats of course and yes its good.

But this series I like.
A bloke whos fed up of the way of the world today and all the crazy "PC" bollocks I can relate too.

Reggie Perrin im sure was loosely based on John Stonehouse or am i dreaming?

Only in as much as both faked a suicide by leaving their clothes on a beach. Stonehouse was running away from fraud, I believe. Perrin was running away from his seemingly futile life.

Yes course and Stonehouse had a mistress Sheila Buckley too
