Porn perfomers are very ticklish about the subject. From accepted knowledge the consensus seems to be that the majority of porn performers do escort. It is quite obvious that shooting porn gives them more visibility and escort "rates" are way higher than being a non-porn entity.

I know that EGAFD frowns upon discussions on "escorting" but if you go to any large escort sites (US or Euro) you will see a large selection of porn performers offered there. It is no secret that being a porn performer elevates their "escort" rates.
The Las Vegas bordellos make a point of hiring porn performers for a certain esclusive stint, and for an hour you have shell out a big bundle of cash (just so you can brag to your friends back home that you got to shag Miss X).
You also have to ask yourself how a euro performer (I will not name the country) can shoot 2-3 movies a year and make a career out of that. You have to understand that that (hc movies) is not their primary source of income.

I only specifically mentioned a couple of well-documented and old cases of porn stars having been prostututes before their porn careers.
Now it is generally well known that the majority of porn performers also escort. You have to live on a lonely outpost in the arctic without internet and without news from the outside world not to know that that porn performers escort. Click on any escort site and peruse the "model"pages/profile there and you will see recognized faces and names. And then have a look at their "rates" and compare them with rates of other non-porn escorts to see the blaring difference.
We are not publicizing anything, since no web sites or specific names have been mentioned, but not to be aware or even mention that these things are out there especially in such an adult porn forum as this is utterly ridiculous. The proof is out there and is it easily accessible without too much effort. It is really a double-edged sword. On one hand the woman's escort's "rates" suddenly spike up if she has performed in some porn movies. However many of them deny they are escorting (because of the connotations attached to such business) and some even resort to digitally "masking" their face as a way to deny it is them. However there are a certain number of them who really flaunt that dual "personality".
I believe that the image the porn industry has tried to portray over the years is that porn people only fuck each other on a movie set and that after they finish a scene they go straight home to mind/feed their pets and visit their grandmas at the old age home. That is the fantasy message and line, but the reality is something else.
