Bruderliebe vs. Schwesterliebe

Post by deezer »

I saw that you deleted "Familien Bande". Sorry, I forgot to mention that this
should be the original title.

You can see it by the cat. Nr. (only 5 digits) and by the back cover.
At "Familien Bande" it is mentioned Puaka, Wiesbaden.
The company seat of Puaka was until 04/2008 in Wiesbaden, then they went
to Essen.

[Sigh...].
You quote the original title without a hyphen. Is there a reason?

Because this could have been outlined ar the start. I'm not a mind-reader.

[sigh... part 2].
??
I have a copy of the retitling (which hitherto I was unaware WAS a retitling).
I have the original cover (with the title hyphenated) but lack the screen-
credits.
I have insufficient German to know whether or not 'Familienbande' would be
written as one word and hence hyphenated solely to fit neatly on the cover.

You seem to have forgotten the cardinal rule: I am an idiot and I need to
have things explained FULLY.

My fault. Sorry, but it was so clear for me, that I didn't mention it.
Please deduct your double effort from my salary:-(

Next fault of mine. I only judged by the cover. Not by comparing both
versions. I have seen a copy of the film a while ago, but don't even
remember, if it was the retitled version or the original.
As I remember there were no screen-credits in the copy I've seen.
But for me it was clear, as I saw both cover, that "Bruderliebe" MUST be only
a retitling of Familien-Bande/Familienbande.

From the orthographic point of view Familienbande (written together) is correct, Familien-Bande not.

I took now another look at the cover. They write Familien-Bande at the
front cover and Familienbande at the spine of the cover.
I overlooked that in my first post.

It must give the impression, that I have forgotten this.
But I only wanted to point out, that this two entries has to be the same
film. Unfortunately I wrote in the link to the cover the title, as it was written
in the db.

!sad!

Ok if I do this?
Retitle to 'Familienbande', with no comments;
Add 'Familien-Bande' as alternate, "cover title"....
