Again to all that have replied, thanks.

Reading all the replies posted to this subject has given me a great insight into how things generally tick along in the Industry.

JackHorny (thanks for the detailed insight reply) I may need some assistance in setting up a website if your interested? I shall email you later on today, if not first thing tomorrow (bend your ear a bit!!) and hopefully we can sort something out. Took a look at your web page and it looks very good with regards to its layout.

Marino also thanks for your reply. I can totally understand you wanting to use the same people that dont let you down in more than one way, it makes perfect sense. I have already worked out before reading all the replies that this is a proffession that has to be taken seriously and that the likes of the Henshaws, Hoopers, Sloanes and not forgetting Jayce all started somewhere and all put a lot of effort into establishing themselfs and getting noticed. Just looking for that lucky break I guess.

Cheers All
Daniel

And he put in the very same top class performance for me the day before, too.

What does it mean to be good? it takes more than getting your dick up and keeping wood and doing a decent cum shot.

The best of these guys always do well, even on a bad day because theyare dynamic in performance. Chemistry is at work. Not just a guy fucking a girl for himself but being aware of what the camera can see and showing the girl off accordingly.

More often than not, I do find guys who have potential but have no idea how to perform and the moment you tell them what to do, their dick goes down. It seems some blokes can't think for the amount of blood that goes into their dicks. Jack Horny has put it very well. Watch the best guys in action then understand what made that particular scene hot.

A good performer is conducive to a hot girl being even hotter. No body wants to see a pretty girl getting fucked by a guy struggling to get it up.

Nerves before a shoot can be an enemy, but mastered can be your best ally.

I quiet agree with Marino and what he says about taking on new talent on a shoot. If it goes wrong it cost you a packet.
Thats why i'm only shooting Girl/Girl and solo Girl at the moment theres less to go wrong on the shoot. Well there is if the girls don't turn up lol.

Hi All

And Wow this is turning into debate here..

Anyway thanks to the guys who have mentioned me..
And I agree with Jack here finding and gaining work has not been easy and defiantly not happened overnight..

I have friends where I live who know that I do porn.. and rumour goes around that I do this work, And get asked from guys that "I've always wanted to do that, can you get me a shoot or give me addresses for producers"
Now I have declined in doing this as I am sure that Terry, Marino, Ben get tons of emails from guys wanting to do this..
Plus if anyone wants to do this there are somethings you must do yourself....

It has taken me a long time to get established, And only just now I think I am,
But into no way I am putting myself up there with Steve Hopper, Lee Henshaw or Mark Sloan.
There are many other studs out there like Mark Maris, Jay Scarman and Ian Tate. That are above me when producers are looking for studs...
I do hope someday that my name will be put into that circle. But who knows??

Also as I do live away from London I am "out of the loop" so to speak..
It only takes me 2.5 hours to get to London.... But I still hear that producers and photographers will hire studs that do live just as far away as me but will still hire them..
To Date i have not worked with Marino, Ben or Terry, Maybe in the Future I will ?

But I am still trying to get well known..
So we'll see
Jayce

Hi Guys,
It's all very interesing indeed what you're all talking about.I'm one of those guys trying to get into the biz in UK.Got some B/G xxx pics (www.adultwork.co.uk/pussymaster) and think that some of them are as good as professional ones, but still nobody apparently gives a s...t about my post couple of days ago at this forum.Did anyone at least take a look at that page? There is no respond at all, what's the point proving that you can perform by collectin all that stills ,or videos if nobody even wants to talk to you after all?

It's very disheartening - I know...

First and foremost you MUST have the self-confidence and "ability" to deliver the goods.

Second - you have to prove you're serious - i.e. get certs, network a bit, put yourself in the mixer for content shoots etc... build something of a reputation.

Third - you must ALWAYS be reliable... if you say you're going to be somewhere BE THERE. The curse of this industry is guys and girls who let producers down.
If something comes up and you're not going to be able to make a shoot be very conscious of the trouble you're going to cause. I'd give this advice - a) BE ABSOLUTELY SURE IT'S OF UTMOST PERSONAL IMPORTANCE and UNAVOIDABLE - make sure you give ADEQUATE NOTICE so that the team can make alternative arrangements. b) Be sure that you provide the producer with an HONEST EXPLANATION. - Nobody can ask for more - some things are unavoidable and although I'm sure it still harms your reputation, it's better to be honest!

And probably FINALLY - WAIT FOR OPPORTUNITY TO KNOCK! That opportunity can come at the strangest of times and from the weirdest of quarters... but the truth is that the biggest breaks I have had in this industry have comeout of the blue and pretty much by chance... But when you get that rub of the green - make the most of it!

So that's it really - be honest, be reliable, be confident, presentable and professional - but over and above everything else - just hope youre in the right place at the right time and keep wishing you get lucky!

Without a doubt I think a London base is a huge benefit BUT more important is a willingness to travle and go where the work is... I think I can count on one hand (with fingers to spare) jobs that I've done locally (50miles radius)...

Lets face it - its a small world these days... I've regulalry travelled to Wales, London, East Sussex - all over... and i don't think I've ever been late!

But yeah - I was talking to producers yeaterday who are now centering all their work in London because of the availablity of talent IN EMERGENCIES - i.e. if they get a no-show there's a fighting chance they can draft in a last minute substitute...I'm a little more fortnate in that although I'm a couple fo hours from London - I'm sorta centrally located unlike Jayce who is out on a limb...

Perhaps we should all get together and have a collective base in London that we can located ourselves at for a few days at a time!!!
