I'm a bit confused.
Is this a similar movie with same cast shot back to back with
FROM PARIS WITH LUST
(1985,Penguin) (IAFD indicates a release date of 1986, but I believe the movie was released at the end of 1985)

Excaliburfilms has posted a movie in its site with different art cover with Tami Monroe featured on box cover and supposedly in the movie (but she was noyt in the original movie).

At VEF they said it was Amber and Sharon do Paris and I kind of went with it without really checking further since it seemed acceptable.

But a better candidate is indeed the film From Paris With Lust instead. But like you say it was probably shot back to back with the same cast.

The filmundo.de auction also said it's from 1985 so IAFD is probably incorrect.

This does not clear things very much.
IAFD does report 2 movie titles "Amber and Sharon do Paris" Pt 1 and 2 (one of your box covers shows on of these titles), with same director and similar/same castas FROM PARIS WITH LUST.
CHERI BABY is probably a reworking of FROM PARIS WITH LUST or the other films, if we assume FROM PARIS WITH LUST is a totally distinct movie from AMBER AND SHARON DO PARIS (shot back to back to take advantage of the american stars that were flown in France).

No but it can't really become clear until we actually get the other movies and compare. The best thing would be that the movie is added to EGAFD as "Cheri Baby" with a note that it is probably the same or similar to "From Paris With Lust" (or "Amber and Sharon do Paris")

The only problem with your suggestion is that the original source material (whatever it is) is still an american financed and produced movie shot in France.

Looks more like a coproduction and there are other films like that on EGAFD. Anyway the cast is 50-50 EU-US so it can be on EGAFD.
